Having chartered extensively around Fiji for the past 7 years on the 36 foot sailing boat Safari, the founder of Safari Charters Ian Thomson in 2006 formed a partnership with Steele Jones also a Kiwi and keen sailor. Steele a surfer and all round waterman has chosen Fiji as his home and now complements safari charters.

With Steele joining the company it was time to venture out and get a new yacht to accomodate a larger market, hence in July 2009 Ian and Steele embarked on an 8000 nautical mile passage to bring Stellar back from the Caribbean to her new home in Nadi waters of Fiji where she is now based.

The far more suited and spacious charter boat now provides plenty of room for the guests and the luxury of a faster and more comfortable sailing experience.
